My individuial hours

For my individual hours I did all the work for the school. I gave out tours to prospective students for the incoming school years. I sold candy to raise money for the garden group with Mrs. Thompson. Then for my tutoring group I went outside of school and brought stuff to school to sell and raise money.

Service learning meeting for Wed.

For the service learning meeting my group will discuss the sales and add up the money so far . With all the fundrasing on estimate I think we made up to almost 60 dollars. We have two more weeks to work and I belive we will do a lot of more than 100 dollars. My next job is to cretae the tutoring sign up sheets for tutors and to be tutored. My postion is creative promoter and I think I have fulfilled my job. My group haas alsos been very supportive.

Sevice learning meeting

For the week of May, 19th we had a very good service learning meeting. For our meeting we came up with 3 good titles to lead our fundraising ideas. Our tiles are pretzel sticks for math tips, lollipops for learning, and cookies for calculators. M .M gave me the money to start up the pretzels. Once we make the money we will pay back the money we owe the Ms.M.

Some moments we had problems were with Kris trying to talk over and act like the boss. Once we all began to work as a group our problems were resolved. Some of our group moments were when we sat down and began to work hard. This week I think was one of our most productive weeks. With us losing week don't think it will rally hurt us as far as work but we will miss each others company.

In the article Mc Cains bascially explained how he will try to break down Obama . MCCain seems like he is a little too confident. One of his steps is

Super delegates

Super delegates are current & former leaders in the Democratic party. Super delegates are not regular voters. Delegates are appointed by statewide votes aquired by a candiaite. The rest are appointed by congressional districts. This electiont here will be 796 delegates. Many think that these delegates can make or braek Hilary Clinton. I belive Obama has more popular vote than Hilary. If she gets enough delegates she can get the nomination. Some pros of super delegates ids that if not enough votes are casted the delegates can make up for the lost in vote Which means no one outside of the party can vote for the Democratic So cons are that if the super delegates cast their vote before the caucus or the primary voters have reached a clear verdict some predict that Democratic risk losing the trust of voters.

5th service Learning Meeting

At this service learning meeting our group began tally up the results of the surveys. We also discussed the possibility of a fundrasier to raise money for supplies for next year. Dorien jackson tallied the final numbers but we all insisted in helping. This week I to present my idea of going to Bj's and then one day of the week sell. Tis money could buy pencils, rulers, snacks etc. Another idea that was discussed was the possibilty of getting a extra room in the school made into the tutoring room.

4th service Learning Project

Yeserday at my service learning meeting we revised our survey because after analyzing the data we realized that some students didn't understand that they were supposed to number instead of check. This showed us that instead we should change it into please check off your top three diffucult subjects. We then decided to meet in Ms.Mcmullun room after homeroom today to redistrbute the new surveys. Next week we will gather all the info then began making charts to analyze the data.
